Hey guys, I am doing some research on identity management, but I need point of views from partners and suppliers.

What are you hearing about identity management? Is it something you are having conversations around?

First things first let’s define Identity Management… Identity Management (IdM) enables the right individuals to access the right resources at the right times and for the right reasons. Said another way, IdM addresses the need to ensure appropriate access to resources across diverse technology environments while meeting increasingly rigorous compliance requirements. While a feature of IdM allows users to use one password to access all of their apps and resources, IDaaS is not merely about password management.

Through identity validation and authentication, IdM establishes a trust relationship between the user and the application provider.

According to Gartner, “by 2019 more than 80% of organizations will use access management software or services, up from 55% today. By 2021, Identity Management as a Service (IDaaS) will be the majority access management delivery model for new purchases, up from less than 20% today.” Back in October, Evolve IP acquired Clearlogin, an identity authentication technology provider based in Mountainside, New Jersey. According to our CTO, Scott Kinka, IT professionals have found themselves moving out of the data center management business and into the cloud integration business. The proliferation of cloud services, each with their unique access requirements, has made that part of integration very difficult to manage.

Clearlogin is an identity authentication service that makes IT more efficient by simplifying how IT provisions, manages, and monitors access management.”
